G1 EDU hire
Unitree G1 EDU humanoid robot for hire
Unitree G1 EDU hire is for events that need more than a walking demo. It is built around teleoperation, dexterous-hand interaction, custom workflows, and an operator who can run the robot safely in a real venue.

Why the EDU model matters
The G1 EDU offer is aimed at events where interaction quality matters: hand gestures, object presentation, controlled handshakes, live movement, and technical explanation. Unitree For Hire is positioned as Australia's only Unitree G1 EDU available for hire, which makes the configuration itself a major differentiator.
- 29+ degree-of-freedom EDU positioning
- Dexterous-hand options for grip, wave, clap, and presentation demos
- Teleoperation for live operator control
- Custom workflows programmed around the event run sheet
Real-time teleoperation
Teleoperation is the practical difference between a repeated loop and a responsive humanoid experience. The operator can turn the G1 EDU toward a guest, trigger a gesture, set up a photo moment, or move through a rehearsed sequence on cue.
- Guest greeting and photo positioning
- Stage entrance or keynote moment
- Product presentation and object handover
- Education and research demonstrations
What G1 EDU can do that G1 Basic cannot
G1 EDU is the stronger path when the event needs secondary development, custom workflows, dexterous-hand interaction, operator-controlled teleoperation, and a technical explanation of the humanoid platform. Basic can still create a visual moment, but it is not the same event product.
- Custom-programmed guest greeting or product routines
- Dexterous-hand interaction and handover workflows
- SDK-oriented technical demos
- Operator-controlled live movement for staged moments
What is included
Every quote should cover the robot, trained operator, pre-event consultation, workflow planning, setup, pack-down, battery planning, and venue safety requirements. If the event needs custom programming, that gets scoped before the booking is confirmed.
What to send for a quote
Send your event date, city, venue, access route, floor surface, audience size, run sheet, filming needs, and what you want the G1 EDU to do. A vague enquiry gets a vague price; a strong brief gets a useful quote.
